Iran’s Interior Minister Abdolvahed Mousavi-Lari is due to leave Tehran for Italy on Wednesday on a four-day official visit, the public relations department of the interior ministry said on Tuesday.
In the course of the Minister’s visit, he is expected to sign an agreement on security cooperation between the two countries, the Islamic Republic news agency reported.
Lari is scheduled to meet with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Interior Minister Giusepp Pisano on expansion of security cooperation including the campaign against terrorism and drug trafficking, IRNA added.
Both sides are set to discuss a wide-range of issues on control of illegal migration, refugees as well as regional developments. (Albawaba.com)
