Lebanese Prime Minister Omar Karami on Tuesday asserted that Syria represents a "factor of stability" in Lebanon and the region and defender of Arab legitimate rights.
Karami spoke with reporters at the start of his official visit to Syria. He added that Lebanon and all of the Lebanese stand for the strong relations with Syria.
According to SANA, the Lebanese Premier denied there is a neutral international committee to supervise Lebanese parliamentary elections, stressing that such an issue is rejected. He said all issues in Lebanon are dealt with in a spirit of "transparency and frankness."
