Israel's Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, on Wednesday said that an arms shipment seized late last year in Bangkok was bound to Hizbullah and Hamas. According to him, it was a North Korean cargo on a plane chartered by the Georgian airline.
Lieberman, speaking to reporters in Tokyo, stated that these weapons were bought by Iran in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. He added the cargo was intended to be sent to the Palestinian groups through Syria.
Lieberman has declined to provide any proof to his statement. However, he stressed North Korea, Iran and Syria have now become the new "axis of evil,"endangering safety in the world, in particular, by creation and distribution of weapons of mass destruction.
