For TRANSCO’s ICAD (Industrial City Abu Dhabi) project, LIOS Technology GmbH provided its well recognised OTS range equipment along with RTTR to monitor the temperature of the power cables supplied by cable manufacturer Silec Cable of France. The project runs on three circuits of 6km, each equipped with fibre optic cables. The commissioning and finalising part of the project will be completed during February 2009.
