A gang that committed on Monday a hold-up in a bank in Salé, Rabat's twin city, and ran away with 600,000 Dirhams (about US$ 52,173) was left with no time to enjoy their loot as police arrested them the day after, reported the official Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP).
Three of the gang members, aged between 20 and 30, were arrested and confessed their crime, while the fourth member is still at large. The gang leader was wanted as he was among a group of inmates that fled recently the Kenitra prison, said the agency.
The culprits drove to the bank in a stolen car and threatened the bank's employees and customers with two sabers and a rifle. To impress them more, they even shot at a wall and broke the Bank's front window, before running away with the stolen money. (Albawaba.com)
