Najat El Saghira has come back into the limelight with a new album composed by the late musician Baleegh Hamdi, according to the Middle East News Agency.
Hamdi had composed the songs for Saghira a while back, but only a few have seen the light of day.
The new album is comprised of all Hamdi’s songs, as well as songs by other composers and poets. The album is surrounded by complete secrecy.
Meanwhile, Najat resolved her ongoing dispute with distributor Yihya Al Mouji, son of the late musician Mohammad Al Mouji. The feud had come about after he failed to attend one of her recording sessions, which made the songstress mad. However, she instigated the reunion by calling him and he is currently working on the final touches for her new album. Yihya is responsible for the album’s distribution.
