In a gesture that reflects the involvement and dynamic interaction of NBK's Management with public and social concerns, NBK's Vice Chairman Naser Musaed Al Sayer, CEO Isam Al Sager and Deputy GM-Consumer Banking Group Abdulla Al-Najran Al-Tuwaijri accompanied by a host of high ranking officials have recently visited the Ramadan tent located near the bank's head office where they joined the fasters at the fast-breaking banquets hosted by NBK.
Commenting on the occasion, NBK Public Relations Officer Abdulmohsen Alrushaid said "NBK's involvement and dynamic interaction with public and social concerns has always been a management priority and a part of the bank's culture throughout its history that dates back to more than half a century". Alrushaid added "the "Do Good Deeds In Ramadan" philanthropic campaign, which has become a tradition observed annually by NBK, comes within a well-mapped social program that features the spirit of social solidarity and interaction through providing financial and moral support for the various institutions along with conducting regular visits to the underprivileged communities such as elders, orphans, special needs people and patient children residing at NBK Hospital ,in addition to organizing Gergaian for kids at NBK branches".
In light of the remarkable success NBK's Ramadan Iftar Banquets witnessed during the last two years, the bank decided this year to take in advance preparations necessary for the successful hosting this campaign within an extensive Ramadan social program that comprises a multitude of philanthropic activities. Last year, NBK's Ramadan Iftar Banquets had set a record number of more than 150,000 Iftar meals offered to fasters and it is expected that a new record number will be set this year as well.
