North Korea called for "national cooperation" with South Korea as Seoul on Monday sent two special envoys to Pyongyang to help defuse tensions over the North's nuclear development.
Lim Dong-won, a national security adviser to South Korean President Kim Dae-jung and a former Unification Minister, was accompanied by Lee Jong-Dae-jun, an envoy of President-elect Roh Moo-hyun, who takes office on Feb. 25.
According to AP, Lim said he was not carrying any specific "solution" to the dispute. (Albawaba.com)
