The family of deposed Iraqi deputy prime minister Tareq Aziz, who surrendered in April to United States forces, is living in the Jordanian capital of Amman under police protection, a relative told AFP Sunday.
"The wife of Tareq Aziz, Umm Ziad, his two sons, the wife and three children of one of them, arrived in Jordan several days ago," the relative told the news agency.
The only member of the family to stay in Baghdad was Aziz's married daughter. (Albawaba.com)
