On the occasion of the selection of Riyadh as the Arab cultural capital of UNESCO for 2000, a new Internet site was launched.  

 

The new Arabic site includes comprehensive information on the city. The site, http://Riyadh [1] Directory, provides services and news guide. It also provides the first electronic map of the city. For example, the surfer can search in this site for his preferred restaurant or shop.
