7he Sevens Stadium is set to come alive this Friday as AEG Live presents two incredible live concerts by Rod Stewart and Spandau Ballet. On what is certain to be a fantastic night of entertainment Spandau Ballet will be performing the one of their final shows of their remarkable ‘Reformation Tour’ whilst Rod Stewart will be kicking off his 38 date European tour with his show in Dubai.
Rod Stewart stated in an earlier interview this is “The first one of 38 concerts I'll be doing this summer and you can be sure it will be a lively, colorful show. I try to find the heart and soul in every song, I intend to pull out all the stops. I am going to sing them all and give it everything I’ve got. It’s been donkeys years since I’ve been to Dubai and I am thrilled to be coming back!”
Martin Kemp from Spandau Ballet said in a recent interview that we can expect “a full on powerful show featuring all of the Spandau greatest hits.....we just want the audience to have as much fun as we have on stage”

There are two ticket categories to this event. A General Admission ticket costs 350 AED and allows access to the rear standing and unreserved grandstand seating area. A Golden Circle ticket costs 750 AED and allows access to both the general admission area and the front pit standing area with its close proximity to the stage. In addition to this Golden Circle ticket holders will receive fast track entry and access to the Panorama Bar that looks over backstage and the pitch which is a very unique offering. On the Panorama bar there will be an air conditioned tent, a BBQ, Costa Coffee and other premium bar, food and toilet facilities. Seating will be available to any ticket holder in the unreserved grandstand seating areas. This offers fantastic value for an outdoor stadium show featuring two full length live shows from two musical legends.
The general admission area will contain a large food and beverage village area with a great range of food and drinks including Fish and Chip, Costa Coffee, Arabian Grill and Pizza and Pies stalls. The area will be set up with picnic tables and umbrellas making for a great atmosphere to enjoy before, during and after the show.
On Friday doors will open at 4pm, and Spandau Ballet will be start their concert at 7pm and Rod Stewart will begin his show at 9pm. Both Rod Stewart and Spandau Ballet Merchandise will be on sale. ATM’s will be available at the venue. A DigiPhoto Souvenir booth will be available so you can take home a souvenir snapshot of the event.
We suggest you arrive early and take a taxi to avoid queues. There will be ample parking at the venue as well as a dedicated taxi rank after the event to take people back into town. In addition to this The Big Bus Company will be offering free shuttle double decker busses after the show from the Sevens Stadium to Barasti Bar where the official after party will be held.
