School groups in the Kingdom are set to get a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of Wahooo! waterpark’ during its new educational tour programme.
Targeted at primary and secondary schools, the Wahooo! educational tours include an overview of the park and all of its attractions, as well as a more in-depth look at water handling, the technical elements behind each ride, water safety considerations, and the scientific make-up of water and its uses.
“Most school-age children in Bahrain think of Wahooo! as a fun day out, but we believe that there are also countless learning opportunities at our facility, which prompted us to create the Wahooo! educational development programme,” said Wahooo! General Manager, Damien Latham.
“From younger children who are discovering the properties of water and the importance of water safety from our lifeguard team to older participants who are keen to know more about water chemistry and the mechanics that make Wahooo! work, our educational outings provide a balance of learning and fun.”
All of Wahooo!’s lifeguards are certified by the Royal Life Saving Society and the members of the Operations team - who will be conducting the tours - all have several years of experience in running waterparks. The priority of the qualified and experienced team at Wahoo! is to make the learning process fun whilst also keeping the safety and hygiene aspects of students in mind.
Each of the four new educational packages at Wahooo! include a different learning module as well as a meal and access to the waterpark’s rides. Students partaking in the educational tour can also play in the park and enjoy some leisure time at Wahooo!
