After suffering a near-death experience, the Tunisian national football team has not only survived the first round, but has surpassed all expectations and beaten Egypt to advance to the African Nations Cup semifinals.
Tunisian soccer fans celebrated yesterday's stunning 1-0 victory against the Egyptians in the Nigerian city of Kano, reports Tunisia Online. It only took a goal by defender Khaled Badra on a penalty kick on the 21st minute to end Egypt's hopes. Tunisia will face Cameroon in the next round next Thursday.
