More than 60 people have been questioned by police in Aden, in the south of Yemen, in the investigation into the October 12th bomb attack on the USS Cole, a security source here said Sunday.
The source, who requested he not be named, refused to divulge other details of the probe, or the nationalities of those questioned.
The opposition press here said Friday that a number of Yemenites and other Arab nationals have been arrested for questioning in the investigation into the blast that killed 17 United States sailors and wounded 38 others.
According to the same security source, another three houses, suspected of having been used by the two suicide attackers, have been discovered by Yemeni police, who are being aided by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Two of the houses are in Tuwahi, 10 kilometers (six miles) north of the city, and the third is in Mualla, seven kilometers to the north.
Yemeni authorities arranged guided tours for journalists Saturday of two other houses where the two attackers lived before the attack on the destroyer -- ADEN (AFP)
