Hundreds of employees at a public trucking company demonstrated Monday in and around the southern Yemeni city of Aden to protest the government's non-payment of their salaries, witnesses said.
The protestors blocked Aden's roads as well as other towns in the south of the country with trucks and buses belonging to the state-owned company.
"They are demanding the payment of salaries which they have not seen for almost one year," an official from the truckers' union told AFP.
