Real Madrid have had a tough run of results domestically over the past week and they will be looking to take out some of their frustration on a Borussia Dortmund side that is without their star striker Robert Lewandowski thanks to him being suspended.
With their visitors missing the primary focal point of their attack, Madrid are favored to take the match to Dortmund and are favored to come away winners as Dortmund have struggled at times this season without Lewandowski.
Madrid will be missing Sami Khedira, Álvaro Arbeloa and Jesé through injury and could see Luka Modric return to the first team following a rest at the weekend.
Dortmund already have enough injury concerns without the suspension of their star striker as Neven Subotic, Ilkay Gundogan, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Sven Bender, Jannik Bandowski and Marcel Schmelzer are all still sidelined for the current moment.
Marco Reus will again be asked to step up for the German side after having scored a hat-trick over the weekend and given him a great boost of confidence again of the trip to Madrid.
The German side dumped Madrid out of the competition last year and without their primary forward in place the hosts are likely to look to take out their revenge on the visitors not just for last season but also for their current campaign frustrations as well.
