Reports from Spanish news outlet El Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Chelsea have agreed to personal terms with the Cesc Fabregas ahead of a supposed £29.9 million move to the British Giants as part of the rebuilding program of Jose Mourinho after the departure of club legend Frank Lampard.
After 13 successful years at the club Lampard leaves a void in the center midfield that Chelsea desperately need someone to fill. Fabregas supposedly underwent a medical in west London yesterday and has agreed a contract.
It would seem that Fabregas and Manager Jose Mourinho have made up after Mourinho called this year's Barcelona team 'The worst in a long long time' and Fabregas simply told him to shut up.
It would seem that the two have worked past this and that Chelsea are looking to bolster their midfield with his signing. Fabregas never settled well with the fans in Barcelona and has been the subject of much criticism after Barcelona ended the season Trophy-less, something the fans in Catalonia aren't used to.
Fabregas would be an excellent addition to Chelsea's star studded squad and would be incredibly helpful in Mourinho's quest to regain the Barclay's Premier League crown for the west London side. If Fabregas signs for Chelsea he could be instrumental in their success next season.
