Iraq clinch important 1-0 win over Jordan in World Cup qualifiers

Jordan lost to Iraq 1-0 on Wednesday in the fifth round of Asia’s 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The loss sent Jordan into last place in Group B with four points. Iraq scored its goal in the 85th minute

The match was played in the Qatari capital of Doha.

In another match in the group, Japan beat Oman 2-1.
