Whenever Suarez scores, he kisses his wrist, where he has a tattoo of the name of his two-year-old daughter Delfina, which is also an anagram of the word Anfield, the Sun reports.
Suarez joined the Reds around six months after Delfina's birth, so is just a coincidence, but the Uruguayan said he likes the added significance, the paper said.
The controversial forward said he didn't know her name was an anagram of Anfield but his wife has told him that people here in Liverpool say that when he kiss his wrist, he is doing it because he has 'Anfield' on there.
Suarez added it's a total coincidence but a very nice one at the same time, adding that maybe it was fate.
The gesture appeared somewhat inopportune when Suarez used it to celebrate the winner in Liverpool's 2-1 FA Cup third-round win at non-league Mansfield on January 6, as he handled the ball in scoring, leading to accusations of cheating. (ANI )
