Manchester City have been held scoreless for two straight games and it would seem that for at least the current moment that their is a little bit of trouble in the Etihad paradise again.
The Citizens had a rocky start to the campaign with defensive frailty but now it seems that their offense has been haulted in it's tracks since Sergio Aguero has been lost to injury once again.
Chelsea kept Manuel Pellegrini's side quiet at home and then Norwich City pulled off one of the shocks of the season holding the club to a draw at Carrow Road in the reverse of a fixture that had seen them slaughtered 7-0 in Manchester earlier in the campaign.
Sunderland already have defeated the Citizens this season with a strong display to defeat them 1-0 at the Stadium of Light and at the moment they could not have picked a better time to face Pellegrini's men as they are struggling to find their form once more.
The meeting between the two is likely to play out as a Preview to their Capital One Cup Final match-up that is happening in early March.
With Gus Poyet having gotten his men up to form and despite a frustrating loss to Hull City at the weekend, there is great opportunity for Sunderland to pull off another shocker.
