Defending Premier League champions Manchester United may reportedly consider playing a series of lucrative friendly matches across the world if they fail to pick up their form and miss out on Europa League .
United might not be able to qualify for the Europa Cup given their form but the Old Trafford giants have no fear of not featuring in the Champions League reportedly for the first time in 19 years.
According to the Mirror, it would cost United a whopping 25 million pounds if they fail to qualify for either of the UEFA competitions.
Given their current standings and performance in Premier League, it would clear United's way to accept several offers to play friendly matches in locations such as the Middle East and the United States, despite their constant refusal to play multi-million pound exhibition matches all over the world, the report added.
United currently stands at No. 6, reportedly 11 points off the fourth place with 11 matches to play in the Premier's League and they surely need to improve their performance if they want to score a place in the Europa Cup, the report added. (ANI )
