Manchester United ran away late winners over Sunderland thanks to young rising star Adnan Januzaj two weeks ago. Now the Red Devils face off against strong early season upstart side Southampton whom reside in the top four while United languish in ninth.
David Moyes still has many bumps to iron out in his first team as all the pieces continue to fall into place for the hand picked United successor.
Southampton will be hoping to steal some points at Old Trafford after having already knock off Liverpool at Anfield.
Michael Carrick will be tasked with breaking up the Saints' attack and after his strong performance for England in midweek he is expected to be up to the task.
Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney are still working at reigniting their chemistry from last season and although the Englishman has been strong this season, he needs more firepower from the club's Dutch hitman to help push his side back up the table.
While many will feel United are favored, there is no way that Southampton can be counted out with the way they have started their season.
