AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has claimed Mario Balotelli is their answer to Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

Balotelli, who signed for Milan from Manchester City in a £19.5million deadline-day deal, scored both goals on his debut in a 2-1 win over Udinese on Sunday, the Sun reports.

Galliani said Balotelli's signing gives the perception that the club has returned as a great Milan.

Galliani added that this AC Milan, in attack, is similar to Barcelona, and he also said the club don't have Messi but they have Super Mario Balotelli. (ANI [6])
