Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri may reportedly be swooped up under a contract by Paris Saint Germain , following the public criticism of his performances by City manager Roberto Mancini .
The French star, who helped City win the title last season, has fallen out of favour with Mancini and has played in just half of City's Premier League games this season, the Sun reports.
Nasri, who increasingly fears for his international future ahead of next year's World Cup finals, may be offered a respite by the French league leaders, who have opened discussions with the advisors of the Marseilles-born player.
According to the paper, officials from the mega-rich club's owner, Qatar Sports Investments, are understood to have contacted the 25-year-old's father Abdelhamid, to offer City the chance to recoup their outlay on Nasri, who is under contract until 2015.
Nasri was bought by City from Arsenal at 24 million pounds in 2011, the report added. (ANI )
