News of Manchester United 's interest in AS Roma starlet Miralem Pjanic continues to spread. The 23-year-old former Lyon youngster has blossomed into a massive talent and his current form continues to impress.
The links to United look to have sparked more interested from around Europe as well, but his Italian club are hoping that an enticing new offer should be enough to keep him in the Eternal City.
Reports from TalkSPORT have announced that Roma are set to offer Pjanic a new contract in order to ensure that the future of the Bosnia-Herzegovina playmaker remains in Rome.
The allure of Manchester United will be a tough obstacle, especially with the Red Devils believed to be offering £25 million for the player who's contract currently runs to 2015.
However, if Pjanic accepts his new deal he is believed to be tied to the Wolves until 2018 and also received a nice raise.
With all he has done to help the club to a perfect nine straight wins to start the season, he certainly is expected to be an asset for the future if he can be persuaded to stay.
