Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has beaten off competition from Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Barcelona's Luis Suarez to top the Premier League shirt sales chart for the second year in a run.
Stats from the Premier League Season Review 2013/14 revealed that the Dutch striker once again proved to be the most popular name for fans to get on the back of their shirts after his performances inspired United to league glory the previous year, Metro.co.uk reported.
Despite arriving for 42 million pounds on transfer deadline day, Ozil could only claim the fifth position in the chart, behind Liverpool hero Steven Gerrard and Suarez.
Shinji Kagawa is a shock name on the list at nine, while Juan Mata's 38 million pounds mid-season switch to United gained him a place at number eight.
