Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Ahmad Hilmi has finally published his first book “28 Letters” that was concluded with a special a special signature by his only daughter Lili. The book was published by the Dar Al Sharq Publishing House and is based on a series of a 160 articles the actor wrote on a weekly basis for the Al Dastour newspaper over a period of several months.
One of the articles was the first one he wrote during the Egypt and Algeria soccer game in the newspaper Al Shurook.
Ahmad has dedicated the book to his father and wrote, ‘Father…Where are you? Do you see me like I see you every day in my dreams? May God bless your soul.’ With regard to the introduction of the book, Ahmad said that he titled it “not an introduction” due to the fact that he personally had never read the introduction of any book and feels that it is not an essential part of a book.
Ahmad added that him not ever reading introductions of books is due to him not wanting to go directly in the heart of a topic and prefers to read the book to find out what it is talking about.
According to the London based Elaph, Ahmad noted that many of his friends encouraged him to write articles and felt he had a real sense in writing articles that people find interesting to read and are always eager to read something new by Ahmad.
Ahmad had announced that all the proceeds from book will be given directly to helping children in need.
