Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has granted herself the title "Best female Gulf singer", simply due to the fact that she has been living in the Gulf since she was a child and has mastered the Gulf dialect. Diana said that she does not rate herself, but she knows the extent to which she can prove her capabilities through the success she has achieved. She added that the success she has achieved among her Gulf listeners through the Gulf dialect songs she released is in itself proof that she is the best non-Gulf singer to sing in the said dialect. Diana attributed her success to the fact that she has lived in the Gulf since her childhood, as well as having a dual United Arab Emirates and Lebanese nationalities.
Diana said: "Singing in the Gulf dialect was a challenge for me."
On a different note, Diana denied rumors that she underwent plastic surgery in her upper lip to alter a previous failed surgery. Diana admitted to having a nose surgery to remove a bone and expressed willingness to undergo plastic surgery after the age of forty if necessary.
