The latest song by Egyptian singer Mohammad Muneer about the recent Egyptian revolution against the government of the former Egyptian President Husni Mubarak titled “Izai” (How) has received over one million hits on the internet. Mohammad had recorded the song before the revolution, but found it very appropriate to the events that took place in Egypt and so decided to release it.
The song has spread rapidly on the internet websites YouTube and Facebook only days after it was released. On YouTube alone, the hits reached one million. In addition, the song received thousands of comments praising it and Mohammad.
Mohammad, who is titled the ‘King’, has dedicated the song to all Egyptians that participated in the revolution and those that did not.
