Shando’s dream of singing with Mohammad Muneer a reality

Egyptian singer Shando revealed that he will be singing a
duet with the King of Arab music Egyptian singer Mohammad Muneer. The two will
sing a folkloric song titled “Ya Rumman” (Oh pomegranate). <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Shando noted that the song was written by Egyptian poet Adel
Salama ten years ago and is considered a new style of folkloric music. It was
composed three years ago by composer Ahmad Muhi.

Shando said that Muneer had overheard him humming the song
at a public occasion and decided to sing it with him in a duet. Shando stated
that Muneer’s offer gave him great joy and it is an honor for him to be given
the opportunity to sing with such a renowned singer and is something he had
always dreamed of.
