Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun has been in the United Arab Emirates to place the final touches on her upcoming album, which she is recording at Fayez Al Saeed Sawin Studios in Dubai. The album is sung in the Gulf and Iraqi dialects.
According to the London based Elaph, Shatha stated that for the past four months she has been going back and forth to Dubai to record the songs and place the final touches on the album. Shatha stressed that she has placed great efforts on the album, which will mark her first, in the aim that it will meet the satisfaction of her fans.
Shatha revealed that she has worked with some of the most prominent composers and poets from Iraq and different Gulf countries and carefully chose the songs.
