Egyptian singer Tamer Husni has requested of protesters in the streets of Cairo to return to their homes to avoid any more casualties and bloodshed. Tamer said during a phone interview with the Egyptian local television channel that the demands of protesters have been met and now they should return to their homes to end the uprising and allow security and safety to return to the streets of Egypt.
Tamer pleaded to protesters telling them that the lives and blood they shed in the midst of protests did not go to waste and the government has granted them the changes. The singer added in his plea that there are those who are trying to make the situation worst and create hatred and destruction.
Tamer has decided to postpone all his previously scheduled concerts until the situation subsides in Egypt. He has also postponed filming the scenes of his upcoming television drama “Adam”.
