Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, announced today extension of its partnership with Trigon, a premium distribution company representing world renowned brands in the IT & consumer electronics space, in the UAE. Trigon would now represent Samsung for the complete range of IT products comprising of Printers, Multi-function devices, Notebooks, LED & LCD Monitors, Optical & Magnetic media (hard disk drives).
"Trigon was appointed through a fair selection process accompanied by research that we engaged to understand the channel satisfaction with respect to various distributors in the region," said Mr. Madhav Narayan, General Manager of IT at Samsung Gulf Electronics

Trigon L.L.C is fully owned by prominent UAE businessmen from the Al Ghurair family, one of the top business groups in the UAE and the Arabian Gulf. Trigon aims to consolidate Samsung's market share by positioning the company's IT product range strategically within the channel, backed by a dedicated business team and distribution infrastructure.
