Image 1 of 8: Jordanian Adham Nabulsi is representing Wael Kfoury. Last time around he excelled with a beautiful ballad, wowing the crowds. Not short of confidence, the jolly Jordanian believes he’ll become an Arab star even if he doesn’t win.

Ibrahem Abdul-Athem

  Play

Image 1 of 8: Ibrahem Abdul-Athem is gaining a name for himself as the luckiest Libyan in talent-show history. Despite an odd lack of voters in his home country, seems that Hussein Jasmi’s man has wowed fans the region over with his singing skills.

Mohammed al-Rifai
  Pause
  Play

Image 1 of 8: Mohammed al-Rifai is certainly not shy of controversy. His unique brand of giving as good as he gets with the judges has endeared the Moroccan to fans everywhere, while his name has swamped social media sites. We can barely remember Twitter before Mohammed!

Leona Lewis
  Pause
  Play

Image 1 of 8: The special guest for Friday’s finale will be British sensation Leona Lewis. The sultry songstress was crowned X Factor UK champ in 2006.

Carol Samaha
  Pause
  Play

Image 1 of 8: Carol Samaha may as well not bother turning up for the X Factor finals: she doesn’t have a horse left in the race! The Lebanese lovely lost her final contestant last week, leaving her in floods of tears while the cameras rolled.

Elisa x factor
  Pause
  Play

Image 1 of 8: Believe it or not, Carol Samaha’s not even the judge worst off. Elisa lost her final contestant the week before last! At least she’ll have plenty of time to reflect on where it all went wrong.

Wael Kfoury
  Pause
  Play

Image 1 of 8: Heading into this weekend’s final, witty Wael Kfoury’s surely the underdog, with only one contestant in with a chance of victory. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised if the cheeky charmer managed to pull it off.

Hussein Jasmi
  Pause
  Play

Image 1 of 8: The hot favourite to be drinking alcohol-free champagne from the chalice of X Factor glory, Hussein Jasmi boasts two team members to his name. Imagine the grin on his face if both of them got through to Friday’s final!

The X Factor winner will be crowned this Friday but the competition starts hotting up on Thursday. Voting will open at the beginning of Thursday’s show, with the least popular contestant being hoofed into reality-TV oblivion at the end of the night. That will leave just two contestants to go head-to-head on Friday’s final.
