Haifa Wehbe: Lebanese beauty, model, actress and singer. But mostly known for the controversy she creates. She needs no introduction in the Middle East. Not his daughter, not his mistresses, but his Guards. The Amazonian Guards: These are the ladies in Gaddafi’s life everyone’s talking about. Gaddafi takes notion of being surrounded by ladies literally and recruits ladies to accompany him in the name of state security. It’s been 2 weeks since the Libyans started to rebel against their eccentric but all-too-present leader of 41 years.  In this time, as well as throughout his 41 year-career, Gaddafi has become a by-word for bizarre, loopy, eccentric, raving mad, delusional and dangerous. As his country’s situation looks more and more troubled and bloody, his words become further divorced from reality. His utterings as he insists he hasn’t yet applied force, become ludicrous when compared to the reality and images coming out of his fragmenting bleeding country.

This Colonel is fast becoming the nation's and world's most mocked leader, the butt of many jokes, and arguably he invites this treatment, given his panto-like stunts, costume and behavior.

From the Arab Gulf kingdoms, to the more troubled Mid Eastern hot spots of Egypt and Iraq, leaders and patrons have their serene sea decks to keep them distracted from the noise of the rabble on stormy land! Some of the world’s richest billionaires keep floating palaces and pleasure decks, and some of these happen to be members of the royal or stately echelons of Arabia.

We had Bushisms from a leader who didn't mind embarassing his country and himself. Now we bring you Qaddafisms from another shameless man who has had his share of (circus) moments of clowning around in the public arena and in the courts of propreity and protocol.

Muammar Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi; also known simply as Colonel Gaddafi; born 7 June 1942) has been the de facto leader of Libya since a coup in 1969. That's more than a decade longer than Mubarak, whose nation seemed to run out of patience with. In this time he's had many titles- self-appointed- and played many roles- some illegal, earning him the Father of Terrorism label.
