Chelsea vs West Ham: Projected lineups
Chelsea have done quite a bit of business this transfer window with the three biggest deals having changed the first team in several ways.
The sale of Juan Mata and Kevin De Bruyne both saw the arrival of new faces in Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah with the later having potential of making his first appearance for the side this afternoon against West Ham.
Jose Mourinho's men have not lost in their last six matches and have won five straight. The loss of Fernando Torres to injury will see Samuel Eto'o likely to keep his place following the weekend match against Stoke City in the FA Cup.
West Ham on the other hand are struggling to keep their heads above water with four of their last matches being losses and the Hammers sitting in the drop zone.
Several loan moves have brought in most notably AS Roma striker Marco Borriello and AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino.
Both could make a difference against the Blues but are not certain to make their debut's, although continued injury trouble is likely to see them have every chance to do so.
The Blues are heavily favored and it is unlikely that Mourinho will lose his home winning streak to the struggling Hammers, but stranger things have happened.
