Di Matteo convinced Chelsea can win silverware this season

Roberto Di Matteo is convinced that nothing can put his Chelsea players off their stride towards more silverware.
Despite the John Terry race row and Ashley Cole's Tweetgate surrounding the Stampford Bridge, the boys in blue shrugged it all off to win 4-1 despite falling behind to Grant Holt's shock opener, and Di Matteo could not have been more delighted.
"It is proving how professional the group is and how well we have responded. I wouldn't say it is a siege mentality though, that is not what we feel or what is happening with us," The Sun quoted Di Matteo, as saying.
"We are concentrating on our strengths and we try to win games with the players we have and our philosophy. It's a team that is in good shape. They are enjoying playing and they are lucky people to do this as a job," he added.
The Italian coach insisted he had not dreamed of dropping either Terry or Cole.
"I judge my players on what I see in training and in the games and when they are there they are fully focused and professional. That's how I pick my team," Di Matteo said.
"We are creating lots of chances, scoring lots of goals and with different scorers as well, we don't rely on just one player," he added. (ANI)
