Friendly: England 3-0 Peru
Daniel Sturridge's stunning strike was the highlight of an otherwise slugglish display from England as they continued their preparations for the World Cup with victory against Peru.
The Liverpool forward struck a fine curling effort from 25-yards inside the first half to bring to life an otherwise quiet Wembley.
Joe Hart had to be on his toes to deny Luis Ramirez shortly before the break, but the Three Lions were able to put the game out of sight as Gary Cahill nodded in Leighton Baines' second-half corner.
Phil Jagielka put some gloss on the scoreline as he capitalised on poor handling from goalkeeper Raul Fernandez, with Roy Hodgson's side eventually running out comfortable winners.
