English Premier League: Week one fixtures
The English Premier League kicks off this weekend with Manchester City looking for a good start to their defence against newly-promoted Southampton on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Manchester United get their campaign under way on Monday night against Everton at Goodison Park.
However, the match of the weekend looks set to be Newcastle v Tottenham on Saturday evening. The pair fought out a long battle last season to land the coveted fourth spot - both hoping to secure Champions League football.
