Oman's Fatma Al Nabhani enters quarterfinals of Morocco tournament

Fatma Al Nabhani continued her winning run to move up both in the singles and doubles competitions of the $10,000 Casablanca ITF Pro Circuit tournament in Morocco on Wednesday.
According to information received here, the Omani girl moved into the quarterfinals of the singles and semifinals of the doubles in the company of Spanish lass Olga Parres Azcoitia.
In her singles second round match, second seeded Fatma eased to a 6-1, 6-2 win over Spain’s Marta Garcia Gausi.
Fatma, who started her singles campaign with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Amandine Cazeaux of France, will take on Arabela Fernando Rabener of Spain in the last eight stage.
Arabela advanced after upsetting Belgian eighth seed Catherine Chantraine 6-3, 7-5.
In the quarterfinals, Fatma and Olga overcame a late fightback by Franch girl Inasse Hamouti and Austrian Kerstin Peckl for a 6-1, 7-5 victory.
