Liverpool, Newcastle & Arsenal interested in Lyon's Grenier
Having just finalized their losing out on the signing of 21-year-old Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have only a business week to get their January transfer dealings finalized.
While the Reds have not left things late recently in the market, the current window has seen Brendan Rodgers a little frustrated with now getting his targets in a timely fashion.
ESPNFC claims that the Reds are now looking for the signing of 23-year-old Clement Grenier from Lyon as the next best choice to their loss on Salah.
Since claiming a place in the French club's first team during the 2011-12 season he has made 87 appearances in three seasons across all competitions scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists.
However, Liverpool will have to deal with heavy interest from French loving English Premier League side Newcastle United as well as Arsenal.
Alan Pardew has been linked to the youngster much of this week while interest from Arsenal can be tracked back several months to reports from the Express in early November.
The £10 million rated attacking midfielder is one of several young midfielders that should be watched heavily in the coming week as a potential new face that could be seen in England.
