Arsene Wenger has revealed his plans to help Arsenal win the first Premier League title since 2004 and it involves doing well against teams from the bottom half of the table. Even though Arsenal have got only one win against the current top four of Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool, they have done well against mid-table teams and those fighting against relegation. It has been a major factor towards their two-point advantage over City.
Since David Moyes took over at Manchester United in the summer, there have been rumours that Robin van Persie does not like the training methods of the Scot. Van Persie was one of the injury prone strikers, but the last few years have been kind to the Dutchman. It is believed to have been the result of van Persie's attention to detail in training.
Liverpool currently sit fourth, and that has only strengthened their desire to reinforce their squad to maintain that position. The top four may be the goal, though boss Brendan Rodgers hasn't given up on the title. Either way the funds look to be there to give Liverpool every chance of returning to the Champions League according to managing director Ian Ayre.
