Man Utd and Tottenham linked with Juventus striker Vucinic
Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic had been linked with moves to either Manchester United and Tottenham this summer and his potential change was fueled more heavily by the recruitment of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente to the Turin side.
However, he remained with the Italian champions despite fears that he could lose his place in the first team in hopes that he could earn his keep.
With only five appearances in the Serie A and a single goal to show for his efforts, the fires of transfer season are once again linking the Montenegrin with an exit from Italy.
Manchester United are without the need of another striker, but they could use Vucinic for his wide attacking abilities with manager David Moyes seeming to be an the end of his rope with Ashley Young.
Additionally Tottenham could use him as a second striking option to Roberto Soldado ahead of Jermaine Defoe.
But, despite the potential rekindling of interest by the two English Premier League sides, Turkish club Fenerbahce are also believed to be in the running for the player’s signature.
With Juventus manager Antonio Conte thought to have his eyes on a move for PSG forward Jeremy Menez in January, a potential offer of £10 million could see the club allow the 30-year-old to take his leave according to TalkSPORT.
In all honesty a move to Turkey seems the most likely as his age does not fit with the usual characteristics of a move by Tottenham under Andre Villas-Boas or by United under Moyes.
