Man Utd reportedly offer Nani to Monaco
Since 2009-10, the player that was once believed to be the next in line to fill the boots of Cristiano Ronaldo, has failed to live up to the expectations on his shoulders. After the past two seasons have seen Nani fade away a little more at a time at Old Trafford, it now looks like it is time for the club to send him onto his next place in the game.
Reports form French news source L’Equipe have quoted Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev as claiming that Monaco have been extended the open door to speak with the Portuguese with him being, “offered,” to the club:
"He is a very good player, but at the moment there have been no talks yet.
We have already changed our group quite a bit and we also want to offer opportunities to our young players."
With a year left on his contract, the time is now for the club to try and seek some sort of compensation for their six-year investment in the player who averaged almost 40 appearances and eight goals a season before last year’s dismal 17 showings of primarily poor quality.
A new home and a fresh start for the 26-year-old truly looks like his best option and United could use whatever additional transfer funds they can find if they intend to break the bank with another major offer to Barcelona for Cesc Fabregas.
