Britain's Andy Murray returned to fourth place in the tennis world rankings released Monday by the ATP while Serbia's Novak Djokovic retained his comfortable lead in top spot.

Djokovic, who helped his country defeat Croatia in the Davis Cup at the weekend, heads the list on 13,205 points to lead by exactly 4,000 from Switzerland's Roger Federer.

Murray was also involved in the Davis Cup and moved above Kei Nishikori of Japan after two singles victories in Britain's win over the United States.
