Nishikori beats Klizan to reach Barcelona Open final
Defending champion Kei Nishikori has beaten 14th seed Martin Klizan to reach the final of the Barcelona Open.
He will now face Pablo Andujar who defeated fellow Spaniard David Ferrer 7-6 6-3 in Sunday's final, reports the BBC.
Japan's Nishikori, 25, who is looking for his ninth ATP World Tour title, needed only 77 minutes to overcome Klizan of Slovakia 6-1, 6-2.
Nishikori had beat Colombia's Santiago Giraldo in two sets to win the title at last year's event.
Meanwhile, Britain's Jamie Murray has reached the doubles final with Australian tennis partner John Peers win 6-4, 7-6 (4) win against Klizan and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi.
They now face Croatia's Marin Draganja and Henri Kontinen of Finland, who defeated Austria's Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares of Brazil, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 12-10.
