Italy manager Cesare Prandelli has urged Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli to give a better description of himself on the football pitch and put an end to his non-stop controversies surrounding him.
Balotelli has been embroiled in numerous storms off the pitch since Roberto Mancini signed him from Inter Milan in 2010, and Prandelli wants the Italian striker to finally grow up, the Sun reports.
Balotelli's 14 Premier League games this season have bought him just one goal and the 22-year-old was last week dubbed a rotten apple by AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.
Prandelli said Balotelli should concentrate on the game rather than trying to behave like a super hero.
Prandelli has insisted the time has come when Balotelli must change himself and gives a better account of himself by taking responsibilities seriously and getting people talking for his football skills.
Prandelli said he Balotelli was under the right tutelage in Mancini, who had given him a chance to shine during his spell as Inter Milan manager.
Prandelli advised Balotelli to listen to Mancini's advice, and added that Berlusconi might have branded the striker as a rotten apple but he has always behaved nicely during national duties. (ANI)
