PSG prepare massive offer for Chelsea's Oscar
The Brazilian is enjoying his second year at Stamford Bridge after making the move from Internacional to Chelsea in the summer of 2012. Since signing for the Blues, the talented midfielder has made 102 total appearances, scoring 21 goals in the process.
PSG are believed to have sent scouts to watch Oscar on multiple occasions in recent weeks, and will look to bring in the young and creative midfielder to help add an even more killer edge to their attack. Chelsea paid big money for Oscar to lure him away from Brazil and to the Premier League despite his relatively unproven status, but that has all changed since he's made the move.
The 22 year old has since become a prime figure in both Chelsea and Brazil's midfield and continues to impress whenever called upon. He'll certainly be one of Brazil's most influential players in this summers World Cup in Brazil.
The Telegraph report that PSG aren't the only clubs interested in Oscar's services, however. The likes of Barcelona and mega-rich AS Monaco are also thought to be weighing up offers. At Monaco, Oscar would join a project that continues to improve, while at Barcelona, the young midfielder would be coming into a midfield filled with talent.
Jose Mourinho will certainly want to do everything he can to keep one of his prized midfield assets, as he's proven this season that Oscar is held in extremely high regard at the West London club. Despite Juan Mata's two excellent first seasons at Chelsea, Mourinho offloaded the Spanish international to Manchester United in January in favor of Oscar playing the creative role.
Barcelona are also thought to be closing in on a move for David Luiz as the Catalan giants look to replace the legendary Carles Puyol who this week announced he'd be leaving Barcelona in the summer to seek opportunities elsewhere.
