Roma chasing Chelsea's Lukaku
The rumors of Romelu Lukaku continue to swirl around the media with the latest having linked him to a move to Italy and Serie A runners-up AS Roma.
Lukaku has been impressive throughout his loan moves to West Brom and Everton the last two campaigns, but his career at Chelsea appears to be no more existent than before the moves.
With Jose Mourinho looking only for the signing of Diego Costa, Lukaku is ready to take his leave from Stamford Bridge and go where he will be a number one choice and be appreciated.
Roma could use Lukaku as there is only a certain amount of years that Francesco Totti is likely to remain active. Although the veteran forward looks no where near deciding to call time on his career, at the age of 37 now and soon 38 after the start of the 2014-15 campaign the club have to prepare for the future.
At only 21, Lukaku could be a long term signing for the club and his ability up front could allow Totti to continue to drift back and fill the creative supporting forward role that he also excels at due to his unique set of skills.
