Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has denied that he has been contact by Paris Saint-Germain and insists that he will stay at the Emirates Stadium.

After another trophyless season in north London, there were reports that the Ligue 1 big-spenders wanted the Frenchman to take charge but the Gunners boss is adamant that he will not breach his contract like "a thief".

Following Sir Alex Ferguson's imminent retirement from Manchester United, Wenger will become the Premier League's longest-serving manager.

"I have no contact with PSG," he told BeIn Sport. "[Current coach] Carlo Ancelotti has done a good job and I do not see why he would leave the club, looking at the quality of his work.

"I followed their season. They have built their success on a form of individual superiority and the collective one that they found through the Champions League. In Ligue 1, they had a quite difficult journey.

"And for my part, I have a contract with Arsenal, where I have served for 17 years, and I do not see myself leaving the club as a thief for not respecting my contract."

PSG are on the verge of securing the Ligue 1 title but reports have linked Ancelotti to Real Madrid when Jose Mourinho finalises his departure to Chelsea.
